# Creating an Email Account

> How to create a new email account for your domain in Plesk.

You can create email accounts for any domain hosted on your DigitalFyre shared hosting plan directly from Plesk.

## Creating an Email Account

**1. Go to Mail**

Log in to Plesk and click **Mail** in the left sidebar.

**2. Add an Email Address**

Click **Create Email Address**.

**3. Enter the Details**

Fill in the following:

* **Email address** — enter the local part (e.g. `hello` for `hello@example.com`)
* **Domain** — select the domain from the dropdown
* **Password** — set a strong password for the mailbox
* **Mailbox size** — leave as default or set a custom quota

**4. Confirm**

Click **OK**. The email account is created and ready to use.

## Accessing Your Email

Once created, you can access your mailbox in two ways:

* **Webmail** — go to `https://webmail.example.com` or `https://server-name.digitalfyre.net:8443/webmail`
* **Email client** — configure your preferred email app using the settings in [Configuring an Email Client](https://docs.digitalfyre.com/web-hosting/email/email-client-settings.md)

> [!NOTE]
>
> The default webmail client is Roundcube, accessible directly from the Mail section in Plesk by clicking **Open Webmail**.
