# Accessing phpMyAdmin

phpMyAdmin is a web-based tool for managing MySQL databases. You can use it to browse tables, run queries, and import or export data.

## Opening phpMyAdmin

**1. Go to Databases**

Log in to Plesk and click **Databases** in the left sidebar.

**2. Open phpMyAdmin**

Find the database you want to manage and click the **phpMyAdmin** icon next to it. You will be logged in automatically.

> [!NOTE]
>
> phpMyAdmin is available for MySQL databases only. For PostgreSQL, use the import/export tools in Plesk directly or connect via a client such as pgAdmin.
