# Restoring Emails from a Backup

JetBackup can restore individual mailboxes or specific emails from any backup taken within the last 30 days.

## Restoring a Mailbox

**1. Go to Backups**

Log in to Plesk and click **Backups** in the left sidebar to open JetBackup.

**2. Select Mail Backups**

Click **Mail Backups** from the JetBackup dashboard.

**3. Choose a Backup Date**

Select the backup date you want to restore from.

**4. Select the Mailbox**

Choose the mailbox you want to restore. You can restore the entire mailbox or expand it to select individual emails.

**5. Restore**

Click **Restore Selected**. The emails will be restored to the mailbox.

>
> Whole restored emails may not be merged into the existing mailbox — emails received between the backup date and restoration date may be lost. If you need a clean restore, contact support, and we can assist.
