# Managing Aliases

Aliases allow you to receive email at additional addresses without creating separate mailboxes. An alias forwards incoming email to one or more target mailboxes.

## Viewing Aliases

Your aliases are listed on the service page under the **Aliases** sub-tab. Each alias shows:

| Column | Description |
| - | - |
| Alias | The alias email address |
| Forwards To | The target email address (can be internal or external) |
| Options | Badges indicating SOGo visibility and whether the target is internal |
| Status | Active or Inactive |
| Actions | Edit, Delete |

## Creating an Alias

1. On the Domain Overview tab, click **+ Create Alias**
2. Enter the alias details:
   * **Alias address** — The address that will receive email
   * **Forwards to** — The target email address where email is delivered
3. Submit the form

Aliases can forward to a mailbox on the same domain (internal) or to an external email address.

## Editing an Alias

1. Find the alias in the list
2. Click **Edit**
3. Update the forwarding target or other settings
4. Save

## Deleting an Alias

1. Find the alias in the list
2. Click **Delete**
3. Confirm the deletion

## Alias Options

Aliases may have the following option badges:

| Badge | Meaning |
| - | - |
| **SOGo** | The alias is visible in SOGo webmail as a sender identity |
| **Internal** | The alias forwards to a mailbox on the same domain |
